Australia:
southern country, located in Oceania, which includes
the lower mainland of the world.
Canada:
a country that occupies most of North America and
stretches from the Atlantic Ocean, east to the Pacific
Ocean to the west. To the north the country is bounded
by the Arctic Ocean. It is the second largest country
in total area, after Russia, and its common border
with the United States, in the south and northwest,
is the longest land border in the world.
China
is the largest country in East Asia and the world's
most populous, with over 1.3 billion people, about
one-seventh of Earth's population. It is a socialist
republic ruled by the Communist Party of China under
one-party system and has jurisdiction over 22 provinces,
five autonomous regions (Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia,
Tibet, Ningxia and Guangxi), four municipalities
(Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Chongqing) and two
Special Administrative Regions with great autonomy
[5] (Hong Kong and Macau).
Spain:
a country in southwestern Europe on the Iberian
Peninsula. Its territory is bordered to the south
and east by the Mediterranean Sea, except for a
small border with the British overseas territory
of Gibraltar, on the north by France, Andorra and
the Bay of Biscay and to the northwest and west
by the Atlantic Ocean and Portugal. Spanish territory
also includes the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean,
the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the
African coast and two autonomous cities in North
Africa, Ceuta and Melilla, bordering Morocco. With
an area of 504,030 km ², Spain is the second
largest country in Western Europe and the European
Union after France.
USA:
is a federal constitutional republic comprising
fifty states and one federal district. Most of the
country is situated in central North America, consisting
of 48 states and Washington, DC, the federal district
of the capital. Located between the Pacific and
Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north
and south Mexico. The state of Alaska is in the
northwest of the continent, bordered by Canada on
the east and Russia to the west across the Bering
Strait. The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in
the Pacific. The country also has several other
territories in the Caribbean and the Pacific.
England:
is one of the constituent nations of the UK. Historically
dominant, occupies the southern half of the island
of Great Britain, apart from one area to the west,
corresponding to Wales. It limits the north with
Scotland, east to the North Sea, south with the
Channel and west by the Atlantic Ocean, Wales and
the Irish Sea. Its capital is London. It has an
area of 130,439 km ² and a population of 49
million inhabitants.
Italy
is a country located on the Italian Peninsula in
Southern Europe, and on two islands in the Mediterranean
Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. Italy shares its northern
Alpine border with France, Switzerland, Austria
and Slovenia. The independent states of San Marino
and Vatican City are enclaves within the Italian
Peninsula and Campione d'Italia is an Italian exclave
in Switzerland.
Japan
is an island country in East Asia. Located in the
Pacific Ocean, east of the Sea of Japan, the People's
Republic of China, North Korea, South Korea and
Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the
north, the East China Sea and Taiwan, south. Characters
of its name means "sun origin", which
is why Japan is sometimes identified as the "Land
of the Rising Sun."
Switzerland:
it is a federal republic composed of 26 states called
cantons with Bern as the seat of the federal authorities.
The country is situated in Central Europe, where
the border with Germany to northern France to the
west, south Italy and Austria and Liechtenstein
to the east.
Sweden,
is a Nordic country, situated on the Scandinavian
Peninsula in Northern Europe. Sweden shares land
borders with Norway in the west and Finland to the
northeast, besides being linked to Denmark by the
Oresund Bridge in the south.
